"Integrated Therapy, LLC is the go-to therapy group for Aquatic Therapy. Aquatic Therapy defies gravity which puts stress on arthritic joints. In fact, some patients who can't walk on land can 'run' in a pool. Our patients love Integrated Therapy, LLC because the therapists empower them to improve their mobility."

Our physical therapists specialize in the treatment of injuries to muscles, bones, ligaments, joints and nerves. Our goal is to return patients to their normal activities while helping them move and feel better and prevent re-injury.
During your first visit, a thorough evaluation is performed by one of our physical therapists. During the evaluation, the therapist may perform a series of tests to determine range of motion, test muscle strength, assess postural alignment, abnormalities in walking pattern, body mechanics or quality of movement. Short and long term goals will be established in your plan of care.
Under the careful guidance of our physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, patients work on a wide range of exercises and individualized treatment activities designed especially for each patient. Your physical therapist may utilize the physical properties of the water to achieve your short and long term goals.
1) I don't know how to swim. Can I still come to aquatic physical therapy?
You don't have to know how to swim! You will be standing in approximately 4 feet of warm water.
2) What do I wear? I don't have a swimsuit.
You don't have to wear a swimsuit! You can wear shorts and a shirt or whatever you're most comfortable in! We recommend not wearing a white shirt in the pool.
3) Will my hair get wet?
The back of your neck may get wet, however, only with your permission.
4) Does my insurance cover aquatic physical therapy?
Yes! Integrated Therapy is in network with Kaiser, Medicare, Worker's Compensation and most major insurance companies. Our office will verify your insurance benefits for aquatic physical therapy prior to your first session.
5) Why aquatic therapy versus land physical therapy?
Joints that are painful on land will be less painful in the water. Because of this, you are better able to increase your range of motion, increase your strength, decrease edema and improve your function on land...all with LESS PAIN! A therapeutic pool is warm which allows your muscles to relax and your pain to be decreased. The water is a safe and supportive environment for working on improving balance and coordination. The water allows you to work on posture and walking in a safe environment where you don't have to worry about falling!
6) Why Integrated Therapy?
We strive to provide excellent and individualized care in a supportive environment where the focus is your goals and helping you return to the activities you enjoy! You will work one on one with a licensed physical therapist or physical therapist assistant to meet your goals to improve your quality of life. Every therapist is easily accessible via phone and ready to help you be the best that you can be!
